the Platonic Solids

I love to explore the world of geometry by making the geometric models. When I teach the Platonic Solids at the school, I often have my pupils make models; lots of paper models, clay models and skeltons.

Here are some photos of my models I have made just recently.

A red octahedron in a bamboo tetrahedron skelton.

Do you see an octahedron as an outer skelton? Then you see a cube in it.

Here is a red Dodecahedron in an Icosahedron.
