Normally Japanese candidates who have finished a degree in Japan can be accepted by master course in England, if they want to attend the uni as international students. But they have to pay extremely high tuition as international students.
I have a right to apply a university as a UK resident, since I live here in England. So I don't have to pay as much as international students do. Instead, I have to follow British standard exam system.
Generally, candidates are required to have qualifications, such as GCSEs and A-levels. They are British standardized exams of high school and college level.
I don't mind to study sciences, since I will need them when I study at the uni anyway. It was a long long long time ago when I studied sciences. So reviewing the basic sciences are necessary. Actually I enjoy studying sciences now.
But......problem is English.
again, English.
I have been suffering from English since I left from Japan.
If possible, I want to get away from studying English.......
For applying for the uni, I need GCSE English as grade A. That means I need to read not only modern literatures but also classic literatures. Since the exam is for native English speakers.... It is like Japanese for Japanese students.

Honestly to say, I was hoping to get away from the exam by taking some other English exams, such as TOEFL or IELTS, which are English tests for foreigners.
Also I was expecting that the results of IELTS would be considered by applying as a mature student.
Last month, the university administrator told me that the definition of mature students does not exist any more........
So I really really need to follow the British exam standard.......
ummmmmmmm.
I want to cry ... "help me!!!!".
But I would do this, if I have to, and if I really want to achieve this.
but.......... help me....................

それは厳しいな。気安く「頑張れ！」なんて言える話ではないですね・・・・チャレンジされるんですか？ しかし、素晴らしい目標をお持ちですね。うらやましい。私は最近、目標を見失っているので、ほんとうにうらやましいです。

そうなんですよ。しかも、成績Ａをとらなければいけない・・・・。ま、大学でエッセイを書くのに困らないだけの英語力はつけてから入学したいとは思っているのですが、シェイクスピアまで読めなくてもいいと思うのですが。
でも、やっぱりやりたいので、目標目指してコツコツ勉強してます。・・・でも、大学入学に必要な試験を全部クリアするのに、システム上、２年はかかります・・・。
人生のなかで目標を失うときって誰にでもありますね。そういうときにこそ、地に足をつけて、一歩一歩積み重ねたことは、絶対自分の力になります。psychocatさんのこと、応援しています。
